New Mexico-licensed speech language pathologists have a yearly license renewal with a January 30th deadline. Twenty (20) continuing education hours are required every two years in order to renew a license. There are no home study limits if ASHA approved, and courses must be in the licensure field.
Continuing education assures the top possible standards for the speech language pathology profession. All licensees are required to complete continuing education as a condition of licensing.
Professional Development Resources is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology.
