Georgia-licensed occupational therapists have a license renewal every two years with a 03/31/2014 deadline, even years. Twenty-four (24) continuing education hours are required for license renewal. From the 24 hours, 14 hours must be in direct patient care, and 8 hours are allowed from home study if AOTA approved. Two hours of ethics in occupational therapy are required at each license renewal.
